Foster Family Farm Corn Maze 2017

Fall in is one of the best times in Connecticut. It is a time for getting together with friends and enjoying cool nights, warm cider, and flashlight games at the AAE Family Night at the Corn Maze. The trip to the Corn Maze at the Foster Family Farm in South Windsor has been an annual fall tradition for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering families for over 5 years now. This year it occurs on Friday night October 27 from 6 - 9 pm.

The Foster Family has farmed their land since 1790. In recent years they have sculpted fantastic corn mazes roaming over eight acres of land and four miles of trails. This year’s theme for the corn maze sculpture is Connecticut’s own championship UCONN Huskies. Using flashlights, participants explore the maze trying to reach the Huskie surprise at the center.

It is suggested that families wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a water bottle, a sweater or light jacket and a flashlight (or two) with new batteries. Students under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, no pets other than service animals are allowed. Finally, to ensure a fun and safe time for all – DO NOT CUT THROUGH THE CORN - this is both dangerous and destroys the hard work of the Foster family and ruins the enjoyment of others.
